Coding goal guardrails

Keep a multi-step coding goal bounded, observable, and careful with existing Git work.

Establish the objective, constraints, evidence for completion, and a lightweight record of progress. The parent remains responsible for scope, authorization, goal state, and final acceptance while focused skills handle the actual coding tasks.

When to use

Use this when creating a new coding goal, explicitly resuming an interrupted goal, or requesting guardrails directly.

What to provide

The goal, scope, constraints, and done condition.
Current Git state, permitted Git actions, and any existing ledger or resume context.

Expected results

Clear boundaries and an evidence-based completion standard.
A lightweight ledger when needed, with current state, decisions, validation, and safe continuation context.
